Based on what we've heard and read about speed-dating events, we think it's important to share that a lot of people leave these events without getting paired with anyone. Now before you freak out and think that this means the event is a scam or a waste of your time, it's important to note that most of the speed-dating events we researched were not Christian speed-dating events. Since everyone at 50FirstDatesSeattle will be Christians (or at least churchgoers - we can't vouch for their actual salvation status), everyone will at least have that in common so who knows, the percentages may be higher.

Also, this event is primarily a fundraiser. Meeeting someone "special" is a fringe benefit. Try to keep that in mind if you start to freak out about the what-am-I-getting-myself-into aspect of the event or if you go away without meeting any potential contacts. Keep telling yourself that it's for a good cause!
